Recipe
Ingredients:
1 ball of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
Zest of 1 lemon
Fresh basil leaves, torn
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Cornmeal or flour, for dusting
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.
On a lightly floured surface or a piece of parchment paper, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness.
In a small bowl, mix olive oil and minced garlic. Brush the mixture over the entire surface of the dough.
Dollop ricotta evenly across the dough, then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan over the top.
Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
Add lemon zest evenly over the cheese.
Bake the pizza for 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
Remove from the oven and top immediately with fresh torn basil leaves.
